#28 in the 30/30 painting challenge. Rooster portrait

Painting #28 in the 30 in 30 challenge is a rooster portrait of my old rooster, Goldy.  I haven't painted him in a long time, so felt it was time to paint him again. :)

Painting #27 in 30/30. Abstract

Painting#27. Personally I love abstracts and after some problems with my original painting #27 I decided to experiment with an abstract. They are a lot of fun and was a fun change of pace as I get near the end of this 30 in 30 painting challenge.

Painting #9 in 30/30 challenge. Chocolate Donut on horse plate.

Painting #9 (21 to go this month!) is a chocolate donut  on a horse pattern CA Polish pottery plate. Simple background on a 5x5" canvas.  Loved the simplicity and that the horse pattern is marching around the donut.  This was a fun painting painted fast alla prima style.  Available on Etsy

Day 6 in 30/30 Painting Challenge. Little Green bird

Day 6 painting was painted from a photo I took at my neighbors house while caring for their bunnies.  A little green bird in the trees eating a bug.    Snapped the pic and it made for a great reference.

30/30 Day 4 painting. Blue Door

My 4th painting in the 30/30 challenge.     This was painted from a photo I took when visiting my hometown in Baton Rouge.  I thought this entry was was so beautiful.

I love this challenge so I can try new things.  This painting is painted on a 4x6x1 3/8" canvas and can just stand up on a shelf.  Very easy to display.  Greens and blues and the turquoise door.   :)
